For our region's first live TEDx event after the pandemic, staying in our comfort zone was not an option. In 2022, instead of the familiar venue, we took a leap and transformed an abandoned historic factory, setting the tone for our theme, Courage Prevails. Both the venue and the brand identity became a powerful stage for brave ideas that move the world.

Design System

Symbols that beat for every idea

We designed a unique heart symbol for every single talk at our conference, giving our brave ideas a visual form. Each was developed from the same set of simple geometric shapes, coming together as a memorable design signature that embodied the heart of TEDxLjubljana.

Brand Identity

Industrial precision crafted into a visual language

Our visual identity drew on the same industrial precision as the venue itself. Minimalist shapes, perfect grids, and small, deliberate details created a cohesive language that carried across stage design, print materials, and digital platforms. The geometric heart system gave us a flexible identity that made our theme of courage instantly recognizable.

Creative Direction

Transforming industrial heritage into a stage for ideas

For our brave talks, we turned an empty industrial shell into an inspiring venue, weaving our brand identity into every physical detail. The event did not just revive the space for one weekend. It sparked a new chapter for the historic Litostroj factory, now known as L56, opening its doors to other large-scale events in the region and cementing its place as a cultural landmark.
